Because of the bad weather out January Committee Meeting was cancelled. This made us very sad.
We’re now back for the new year 2010!!!
We talked about inviting new members along to the committee meetings. We updated the website so people can contact us to get involved, we are going to talk to people at the Blue Camel Club about getting involved.
We all met Sam, the new co-ordinator for the Shut Up and Listen steering committee, hello Sam!!!
We had some great news at the beginning of the week, we have been given funding by Youth Music so we can carry on making the Radio Shows and help tell more people about all the great stuff we’re doing. We’re going to organise a big event to help launch the show and let everyone know they need to shut up and listen!
We have the new show up on our website to download but there are some problems with it on some computers, we’re also waiting on iTunes to put it up in their shop!
We thought about different features we could have on the radio show. We talked about having more acoustic sessions on the show, and having more interviews on the show. We talked about going to more conferences to do interviews.
We looked at putting together slideshows to make it easier to show people what we do here and what the bands get up to!
